June 10, 2010 - SINGER®, which has been providing a gateway to the world of sewing for nearly 160 years, is helping inspire a passion for fashion in DIY designers by sponsoring the Make It, Wear It! Challenge on Sew,Mama,Sew! The challenge, taking place all this month, invites people to post photos of home-made fashions on the Sew,Mama,Sew! forum and Flickr pool. Once each week a winner will be randomly selected from Sew,Mama,Sew! daily blog commenters to receive a copy of the SINGER® The Complete Photo Guide to Sewing book from SINGER®’s licensee Creative Publishing international, as well as an assortment of SINGER® fashion sewing accessories and notions (SINGER® Fusion Thread Gift Tin, Professional Series Scissors, Pattern Marking Tool Kit, Measure Mark More and Beginner Sew Kit) provided by Singer’s licensee, Dyno Merchandise.
A Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from the fashionable entries on the Sew,Mama,Sew! Flickr pool on June 30th and will receive a new SINGER® Confidence™ 7467 sewing machine along with a copy of the book and accessories gift package mentioned above.
